My Favorite WordPress website that I built

Day 13: #WP20 From Blogs to Blocks

I have built so many WordPress websites till now which makes it impossible to remember the best one. But one of my favorite WordPress website that I built recently for an NGO based in Canada called CASSA, Council of Agencies Serving South Asians. This NGO works towards building diverse & inclusive communities in Canada.

The original site was archaic with old information architecture. I worked to improve that and provide some much-needed modern design aesthetics to the website’s layout, typography, etc.

The homepage was completely reworked to include important information and to exclude non-essential ones.

There is a donate button right on the homepage to help provide a boost to it.

A newsletter sign-up form is included on the homepage to increase newsletter signups. CASSA sends regular emails to its subscribers so it was important to make it easy for the visitors to sign up quickly.

Links to reports, podcasts, and training & workshops are also mentioned on the homepage to help people read, listen or attend any paid or free workshops.

A translation widget was also provided to help visitors translate the content on the website into their own native language.

All these steps helped to design a website that not only looks good but also aligns with CASSA’s goals.
